My wife Nancy and I are so sorry for your loss. I had the distinct honour of working with Joan at KGH where she was a cardiology nurse for years. Some of my fondest memories of my 30 years at KGH are of my time spent with such a pleasant, friendly and competent nurse. We were all blessed to know her. She will be missed.

Joan and I worked together on many Puerto Vallarta golf tournaments.  We'd sit for hours in the trailer chatting between rushes of printing and distributing  tee-off schedules.  We'd talk about the latest books we were reading, our families, and of course how lucky we were to spend our winters in Mexico.
RIP, dear Joan.
