Jony was truly larger than life - colorful, charismatic and full of energy, with a personality that was entirely his own. He had a presence that could shift a room, often filling it with stories, laughter and constant chatter. As many have reflected, Jony didn’t just enter space, he filled it.

An endearing part of Jony’s personality was his bold and distinctive sense of style. His choice of bright, expressive clothing was unmistakably his and became something people came to know and love about him; a reflection of the color and energy he brought into every room.

He was a deeply loving son, sibling, grandson, nephew, cousin and partner. His warmth, humour and energy made people feel instantly at ease and genuinely valued. Jony had a natural ability to connect with others, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Michelle and Hugh, and his stepfather Gary; his siblings Erin, Olivia, Conor, Lewis and Jennifer; and his girlfriend Lisa; along with extended family and many friends who will carry his stories and spirit with them.

Jony leaves behind a space that won’t ever feel the same, a space that, if he could, he would still be filling with stories and chatter.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC.
