JOHNSTON: Kathleen J , passed away on 20 Feb 2014 at KGH at the age of 80 years. Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her children, Barbra, Sandra (Kent) Darrington, Ian (Thara), Ron (Donna) Johnston. Grandchildren Kassie, Trisha, Jennifer (Mark) Baumann, David & Shawn Darrington. Taryn, Hailey & Kalyn Johnston. GGC – Tori, Hunter & Chloe Baumann & Fayette Darrington. Siblings Donald Pittendreigh, Nan Gurr, plus nieces, nephews, cousins. Kathy was predeceased by her loving husband Walter O Johnston & son Barry. Three sisters, Daisy, Isabel & Norah. Kathy found joy in life, her family & working with her hands to create beautiful handiwork. The summers would find her on the golf course winters at the curling rink. Her quick humour, easy laugh, willing spirit made her a joy to be around as her countless friends and family can attest. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at the LDS Chapel at 2170 McDougall Road West Kelowna BC.
