Dec. 19, 1957 – Feb. 14, 2025
He was born and raised in Kindersley, SK, raised his children in Red Deer, AB and passed away peacefully in Kelowna, BC with his best friend by his side. Laurie battled a chronic lung infection, rallied many times but lost the fight. He was predeceased by his father Vern Koebel. Lovingly remembered and missed by his best friend Sue McLean, mother Debbie Lowry, brother Rod Koebel, sister Deanna (Randy) Palatin. His three children David Pederson Than, Kathryn (Matt) Koebel and Michelle (Troy) Zacharias. His grandchildren who were the apple of his eye and took every opportunity to brag about – Pyper, London, Justice and Jersey Zacharias.
Laurie will be honored in a private family celebration of life.
