LEES: Marie Rose Lise ( née Boudreau ), age 77, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2021, due to complications after cancer surgery. She was born on September 14, 1943, in Kapuskasing, Ontario, the second child to Theodore Boudreau and Lucille Boudreau née Parent.
She is survived by the father of her children William Robert Lees, her daughter, Leane Lees (Adam) and her son, Joey Lees (Lisa); as well as her two grandsons Wade Lees and Eric Lees. She is also survived by her seven siblings; Norbert Boudreau (Louise), Marie Paule Muldoon (Jerry), Armand Boudreau (Lise), Nicole Brolund(her son Duane) Suzanne Boudreau (Marc), Rolande Boudreau (Jean), Jeannine Macdonald (Chuck).
Lise’s passion, love of hiking and nature was such a huge part of her life. Her memories of many hiking trips shared with friends always brought her happiness and a smile on her face. One of her fondest places to hike was Knox Mountain where she would train for her many longer hikes like the Grand Canyon.
She had a large circle of friends whom she cherished and was always by their side when needed. She was feisty, determined and committed to her well-being, health and fitness.
Due to the 4th wave of this pandemic, a celebration of life will be postponed until the spring when her siblings and all who want to come can attend.

Marie Rose Lise Lees née Boudreau, 77 ans, est décédée paisiblement le 11 septembre 2021 suite à des complications liées à une chirurgie anticancéreuse. Elle est née le 14 septembre 1943 à Kapuskasing en Ontario, la 2e enfant de Théodore Boudreau et Lucille Boudreau née Parent.
Elle laisse dans le deuil le père de ses enfants William Robert Lees, sa fille, Leane Lees (Adam) et son fils, Joey Lees (Lisa), ainsi que ses deux petits-fils, Wade Lees et Eric Lees. Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil ses sept frères et sœurs: Norbert Boudreau (Louise), Marie Paule Muldoon (Jerry), Armand Boudreau (Lise), Nicole Brolund(son fils Duane), Suzanne Boudreau (Marc), Rolande Boudreau (Jean), Jeannine Macdonald (Chuck).
La passion de Lise était son amour de la randonnée et de la nature qui ont joué un rôle très important dans sa vie. Ses souvenirs de nombreux voyages de randonnée partagés avec des amis lui ont toujours apporté du bonheur et illuminaient son visage d’un sourire. Un de ses endroits préférés pour faire de la randonnée était la montagne Knox où elle s’entraînait, entre autres, pour aller au Grand Canyon.
Elle avait un grand cercle d’amis qu’elle chérissait et était toujours disponible pour eux. Elle était fougueuse, déterminée et dévouée à son bien-être, à sa santé et à sa condition physique.
En raison de la 4e vague de la pandémie, une célébration de la vie sera reportée au printemps 2022, où sa famille immédiate et tous ceux qui veulent venir pourront y assister.
Au lieu de fleurs, un don à la Société du cancer de la Colombie-Britannique serait apprécié.
