Marion Elaine Rupert

With a sad heart and loving memories, I announce the passing of Marion Rupert on May 22, 2021 in Kelowna, BC. She is survived by her sister Bernice Jackson with whom she has lived the last 10 years, her granddaughter Brandey Blahut (Saskatoon) and brother-in-law Steffan Zevarr (Ontario). Predeceased by her husband Jim, daughter Patricia, parents Frank and Goldie Smart and sister Rosalynne Zevarr.

Marion lived most of her life in south eastern Saskatchewan and moved to Kelowna in 2012. She married Walter James Rupert in Estevan in 1957. She was an excellent seamstress and her needlework and crafts were beautiful, she loved to garden and spent many hours in the outdoors at the farm in Kennedy. Her love and interest in curling continued throughout her life. In her later years, she travelled much of the world with sister Bernice and loved to cruise. Marion was 60+ member of the Order of Eastern Star.
