Mavis Darlene Forrest

After a courageous three year battle with cancer it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mavis at the Kelowna General Hospital on Sunday Oct. 9/11.

Survived by her loving husband of 52 years Larry, sons Greg (Charlene), Curtis (Ina) & daughters

Shannon(Gary), Shelley (Bill).

She will be fondly remembered and missed by her many grandchildren , two Great-Grandchildren,

Sister Verle (Dennis) Brother Allan (Rita) and many more family and dear friends.

Mavis and Larry spent over 30 years in Fort St. John raising their family and working in the community.

In their retirement years they enjoyed many adventures traveling the world.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Ron Gore along with all the nurses & doctors of the Kelowna Cancer Clinic.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sun Village Club House, 2330 Butt Road, Westbank, Saturday October 15th, 2011 at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency.
