

Nina was born in Kelowna, B.C., on the 14th of July 1925. She attended school in Kelowna and graduated in 1944 from Kelowna High School. In 1952, after the death of her father, Nina and her school friend, Maureen, moved to Victoria, where she met her husband, Gordon Inglehart, and was married in Vancouver in 1953. Gordon was in the military, and for the next 26 years, they lived on different bases around Canada, returning in 1977 to West Kelowna.
Nina is predeceased by her husband, Gordon, in 2015. She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie and Judy and six grandchildren: Tracy, Natalie (adopted), Tiffany, Amanda (Mike), Brandon (Sammy), and also 10 great-grandchildren: Dawson, Ashlee, Caylah, Emmali, Brooke and Dominic, Alyssa and Eithan, Aaliyah, Kaylie, and 1 cousin, Pam in Calgary. Nina was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, mother and father, 2 aunts and 1 cousin, all in Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, and 1 cousin in Nova Scotia, and grandson in Nanaimo, B.C. Also her paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, most of whom died in Scotland, England, Australia, New Zealand and U.S.A.
Nina and Gordon and daughters Debbie and Judy enjoyed many years camping around Canada and U.S.A.; first in a tent and then graduating to a tent trailer, trailer and 5th wheel, with two main camping trips to Expo '67 in Montreal and to Disneyland in 1969. In 1998, Nina and Gordon joined, first, the Good Sams R.V. Club and then the Explores R.V. Club in 1999, and spent many happy campouts in the Okanagan, B.C. and U.S.
In 1996, in their 5th wheel, Nina and Gord took an extended 5 month trip down the West Coast of the U.S., across the bottom states and up the East Coast, with a cruise from Miami, Florida to the Caribbean, and then across Canada home.
Nina loved her family, and over the years, enjoyed many happy family gatherings in their home.
