Phyllis Jefferies, born September 14, 1929 in Kelowna, BC passed away on February 26, 2012 at Kelowna, BC at the age of 82 years.
Phyllis was a long time member and Past President of the Branch 26 Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary.
She was sadly predeceased by her mother, Catherine Bradley (Smith) in 1947; her father John A. Smith in 1999; and her step-mother Nora Smith in 1966.
Phyllis raised, all on her own, seven children here in Kelowna, who will miss her – Cathy, John, Robert (Alice), Patty, Kevin, Ron (Joyce), and Don. She will also be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Linda (whom she loved dearly); grandchildren Terry (Jen), Chris, Adam, Cody and Josh; great grandchild RJ, and soon to be another great grandchild from Terry & Jen.
A memorial celebrating Phyllis’ Life will be held at 1:30 PM, Thursday March 1, 2012 in the chapel of Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road, Kelowna, BC.
