Robert Reinhold Madu

MADU, Robert Reinhold (Papa Bob) – It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert on April 17, 2015 at the age of 65. Prior to residing in Kelowna, Robert enjoyed a career in sales, as well as spending time on his houseboat in Nanaimo. Robert was a hard worker who took great pride in caring for the property surrounding his little blue house by the creek. He enjoyed reading, golfing, fishing, and was an avid gardener.

He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family; son Rob (Christine) and their children Leia & Ryan and Rob's mother Emily Madu; son Lance Koppel & his mother Corrine; sister Dorothy (Tom), and her daughter Ginette (Tim) and their children Addie and Vienna, brothers; Allan (June), Tom and his daughters, Jessica (Travis) and their daughter Taylor, and Amanda (Jeff); Ted (Tammy) and daughter Sadie; Don (Amy) and his sons Garrett and Keegan, and many other relatives and friends.

A service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at 10:00 am at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, British Columbia. Condolences can be sent to the family by visiting www.firstmemorialfuneralkelowna.com
