Ronald Peter Neill Woodward

Ron was born on October 27th, 1959 to Woody and Agnes Woodward and left this world on June 28th, 2016 in the presence of his family after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Kathy; children Matthew, Josh and Bailey; grandson Kade; "adopted" son Yanni Papadopoulos; sister Gerri Weninger; parents Woody and Agnes and nieces Lana, Shannon and Daina.

As well as his constant companions, Milo and Cheech.

Ron was born in Port Alberni then moved to Kelowna where he grew up before moving back to the Island in 1982. In 1984 Ron and Kathy were married and spent the next 5 years in Bamfield and Port Alberni where Ron owned and operated a sawmill.

In 1989 Ron and Kathy returned to Kelowna to raise their 3 children.

Ron became know as "Ron the roofer" upon his return to Kelowna and to those he worked for he was the best roofer in town...to his kids he was a walking encyclopedia.

We would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at KGH who helped make his last days easier and his sister Gerri who was always here for Ron and his family through this very difficult time.
