Shirley Pamela Ann Jones

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Pamela Ann Jones. Born November 23rd 1934 - May 28th 2021. In her final days, Shirley was surrounded by her family, loved ones and the wonderful staff at Three Links Manor.

She gave so much love as a Mother, Nana and Partner. She was a wonderful friend to many. Shirley is survived by her loving family, Daughter Terri (Barker), Granddaughter Jamie, Grandson Alex, and Soulmate of many years, Keith.

Shirley was known as a free spirit by many and always had a wonderful sense of humor. Many people said that she was a “social butterfly” as you could find her having the most lively conversations with anyone she met.

She often told her grandkids wild stories of her many travels from in her early years.

Throughout the 70’s she loved to go camping frequently out at Cultus Lake and enjoyed many trips with her daughter, Terri.

No matter where she went, whether it was the grocery store, or dancing on a Friday night, she was always dressed to the nines. She especially loved wearing sparkly jewelry which reflected her bright and shining personality.

Shirley enjoyed spending her time taking many road trips to Vegas with her beloved Keith, playing cards, dancing at the Legion on Friday nights, writing poetry, working on jigsaw puzzles, golfing, spending time with her family, and of course giving hugs to everyone around her. She was always known as the “Happy Hugger”.

She enjoyed the small things in life, the beauty of nature and was always grateful for all that she had.

We will all miss her deeply and know that her love continues to surround us.
