Theresa Graf (nee Flegel) born March 21, 1927, was the seventh child of eight, born to Rose and Frank Flegel. She passed away December 21, 2019. She is survived by her brother John Flegel (Beverley). She is predeceased by her parents and siblings, Mary Horning (Joseph), Adam Flegel (Anne), Julia Dietrich (Lawrence), Joseph Flegel (Ann), Anne Pfliger (Tom), Matilda Balsh (Dick), and John’s first wife Martha. Born in Dubuc, Saskatchewan, she moved to Kelowna in 1944, met and married Otto Graf, August 30, 1949. Together they had 5 children, Odette Flower (Gregory), Daryl Graf (Carolyn), Kimball Graf (Pamela), Blaine Graf (Laura), and Brent (Lone) Graf. Grandchildren include Janaya Flower (Eric Collings), Jordan Flower (Carolyn), Jaryn Flower Philips (Steven), Jarrod Graf (Tina), Joel Graf (LeeAnn), Kaitlin Graf, Ariana Graf, and Austyn Graf. As well, Theresa loved having around her 12 great grandchildren. Throughout her life, Theresa was an active member of the community, volunteering in many Rutland area groups from Girl Guides to CWL to Rutland Parks Society and a variety of other associations. Cooking, travelling, gardening, and entertaining were just a few of her passions. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a loyal friend to so many. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be greatly missed! Theresa’s funeral will be January 2, 2020 at 10:00 am, Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 750 Rutland Rd N, Kelowna. Inurnment will be at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road, at 4:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Girl Guides of Canada, 50 Merton St. Toronto, Ont.
