Vaino Einari Jakku passed away in Kelowna on September 3rd. Vaino immigrated from Finland to Canada with his wife Auli & two children in 1967. He was a carpenter who enjoyed road trips, photography, cars, movies & old western TV shows. He loved accordion & saxophone music & Finnish TV shows as well, but his relationship with the technology that allowed access involved a lot of cursing (computers fault!). Vaino was stubborn, opinionated, sociable with a really kind heart who loved his family & missed his beloved wife Auli who predeceased him in February 2022. He was the youngest & last to leave us of 12 children. He is survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews & other family members, and will be greatly missed by his daughter Ulla, son Harri, grandchildren Stefan, Aaron, Amy (Garrett) & Ashley (Troy) and great grandchildren Teagan & Jaxon.
