Victor Joseph Stocker

Victor Joseph Stocker passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, at Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 95, 17 days shy of his 96 Birthday. Victor was a Gentleman, was loved by his Family and everyone who knew him. Victor was a hard-working proud man from Saskatchewan who loved Farming. He loved running a farm full of cows, chicken, turkey, and Angus cows. In July 1982, the Stocker family moved to Kelowna BC. Victor started running Care Homes with his first his loving wife Dianne. Victor loved his four children and his three grandchildren. When Dianne passed away in June 1994 after a long struggle with cancer, Victor was heart broken. Soon after, God had another plan, Victor met Leona, who had lost her husband to cancer. They met at Church and on May 18, 1996, they were married. They spent 29 years in retirement traveling to places like the Holy Land, Egypt, Arizona, Mexico and spend lots of time at Holiday Park in Lake Country where they parked the motorhome. They loved spending time there with all their children, grandchildren and great children. Victor had enormous faith, was a devout Catholic and an active member of the Knights of Columbus at Saint Charles Garnier parish.

Victor is survived by his Wife Leona, his four children Jarrod (Nancy), Jeff, Jeannine and Jana. His three grand children; Jeromy, Jordan and Josh. His 3 sisters Joyce, Joan (Aimie), Doreen and his brother Marcel (Vi)

Victor was also loved & survived by the Serhan family members Carey (Karen) and Kevin (Saphrine). Grand Children Amber, Ashley (Stacy) and Kim (amazing dog Diego). Great grandchildren Jack, Noah & Syndie. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

Victor is predeceased by his loving first wife Dianne, his Father Victor Sr. and his mother Mary, his sister Margaret, his two brothers Ken & Jack and his stepson Richard.

The Stocker Family would like to thank to thank the amazing Doctors & Nurses from KGH who cared for Victor in his last 8 days. You are all very special people.

Prayers will be recited from St. Charles Garnier Catholic Church, 3645 Benvoulin Road, Kelowna on Friday, January 2nd, 2026 at 7:00 PM followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Charles Garnier Catholic Church on Saturday, January 3rd, 22026,at 10:30 AM. A Private Family inurnment will take place at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
