Dear Leslie and family,
I don't know if you'll ever see this, but our Dad is always wondering about Wilf, so we looked up his name and found this.
Our sincere condolences on the passing of your dad.  We have lots of happy memories of him, your mom, and you, from the Kelowna days.  He was a great friend of dad's and there are still memories and stories being told about him in our family.  All the best to you and your family,

 Good times/memories , usually during  Happy Hour , trading stories about WW11 ( both of us same age and veterans ) ,life in general ,hockey and trip to Holland ....not to mention his constant battles with the raccoons after his fish.. A few good chuckles there .
 His talents, as a finishing carpenter, second to none.

Sorry for the  late message as this was just brought to my attention.

I first met Wilf when I became his neighbor on Knox crescent in 2014. Kathleen, Wilf and myself soon became good friends meeting up a the end of the day to share stories, a meal and some wine and many, many laughs.  Wilf always took the time to share his life with us, and give us a glimpse into all the moments he cherished looking back.  One of my most favourite memories is the evening he asked me if I would dance with him in the kitchen, I felt so special and he spun me around until I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. Wilf was always such a gentleman, and a caring human  and making sure we always remembered to be respectful of our time here and each other.  It’s funny how with some people you never think about age, and when we all hung out it was just the three amigos:) I would like to sencierly thank Wilfs family for sharing him with Kathleen and I over the years on Knox crescent, I am so greatful for that friendship and memories the theee of us shared together.  
Wilf was an exceptional man, and I  was privileged to have been part of his life and to call him my friend.  
Rest In Peace my friend ❤️Thank you for the memories.
