Betty Louise Yelverton

Betty was born on July 23, 1929 in Tolosa, Texas to parents Olin and Ella (Sweat) Pritchett and entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2017 at the age of 88. Betty enjoyed reading and collecting salt and pepper shakers. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, which her grandfather had donated the land on which it was built and her father helped build. Betty was a loving, caring lady and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband Royce Yelverton.

She is survived by her daughter Ellena Miller and fiancé Marvin Coffman of Mabank, granddaughter Linsey McLain Lopez and spouse Paul of Sugarland, great-granddaughters Ella McLain Lopez and Livia Lopez of Sugarland, niece Cindy Fredrick of Vidor, cousins Eugene and Jerry Pippin of Kemp.

The family would like to offer a very special thank you to all the nurses and staff at the Mabank Nursing Home for all the love and concern shown to Betty during her stay and since her passing.
