Big L. Arender

Lewis was born on June 15, 1943 in Raleigh, MS to parents Vilos and Ella Eva (Davis) Arender and entered into eternal rest on September 2, 2016 at the age of 73. Lewis was known as “Big L” by his family and friends. Big L’s fondest memory was growing up with all his siblings. He loved making people smile. Big L owned and operated Big L Insulation. One of his proudest career accomplishments was buying his big Massey; and he loved driving it too. Big L was a very kind and loving man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Big L was preceded in death by his parents, wife Johnnie Louise Bolt Arender, son Gary Lewis Arender, brother Oliver Guysinger, brother J.W. Lambert, brother Charles Edward Arender, Charles Edward Lambert, sister Louise Lambert Skains, sister Thlema Arender Berryhill.

He is survived by his children; Dianna Arender Myrick and husband Ricky of Mabank, Kenneth Lee Arender of Mabank and Donna Jean Schultz of Mabank, grandchildren; Cody Allen Myrick, Natasha Ann Smith, Angela Kay Arender, Daniel Lewis Arender, Taylor Diane Arender, Misty Diane Powers, Megan Renee Shelto and Matthew Brylon Cable, 11 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Debbie Arender of Mabank, sister Daisy Lambert Burns, sister Denzi Lambert Kruger, sister Nell Joe Lambert Hart, and brother Johnnie Lee Arender, other loving family members and many more friends.
