Dang Billy Don I can't believe I missed your passing and funeral. I just happened to get on Facebook to find out. I grew right next door to you and you gave a lot of great memories. I remember the time Jamie and I went into your attic to look for old baseball cards and fell through the sheetrock into your bed. Y'all were at bingo that night. Great memories. You will be missed.

I've only seen Billy Don one time since high school ( has it really been 48 years)? And when I did see him we didnt know who the other was. I wish I could of said hello to my old friend. I remember he always had a plan, usually a plan to cause some kind if havoc and play a joke on somebody. Only once it was me. When it played out I yelled at him and he laughed ever so hard. He wasnt someone a person forgot. He was loved by many people and many will miss him. Oh , yeah, Billy Don, it was funny...it really was. I will Always love you and your family.

Honestly I have a few great memories. Like I remember the first time I brought my boyfriend over to meet our huge family and besides granny and my mom no one had really said a word to him and you walked up to him with the most intimidating look on your face and asked him what are his intentions to be with your neice and I swear I saw him shed a tear of fear while trying to get up the courage to answer and thats when you started laughing. You may have looked Like an intimidating guy but on the inside you were just a big ol teddy bear! Always having popsicles in the fridge for all of is kiddos to come get and even buying my sister her first bicycle (man I was so mad I didnt get one!) All I am trying to say is that I will miss you and so will all the people you shared moments like these with.
