C. L. York

C. L. liked to garden and loved to play Texas Hold-em. He enjoyed working on and restoring old vehicles. Stock car racing was one of his passions. C.L. worked for the N.L. Shutte Foundation company for 40 years. He was a very special man and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

C. L. is preceded in death by his father Charles Larkin York, mother Maude Turner York, wife, of more than 50 years, Marion Louise York, brothers; Raymond, Richard, and Nolan York, sisters; Mary MCCaghren and Mary McGee.

He is survived by daughters; Sandy York of Gun Barrel City and Debbie Broumley and Jerry of Kemp, brother Mikel York of Lindale, grandchildren; Shane Weeks and Layla Hughes of Kemp; Daniel Ives and Misty of Lorena, Texas; Rebecca Ives of Waco; Faith Knudson and Dustin of Lorena, Texas, Rachel Weeks and Travis Toby of Gun Barrel City, Melanie Weber and Todd of Kemp, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends.
