Charles Ray Trammel, 71, of Kemp, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 In Kemp. Mr. Trammel was born on August 20, 1944. He was raised in Hugo, Oklahoma. He served distinguishly for the US Army decorated with National Defense Service medal, sharp shooter and medic for 12 years. He was preceded in death by brothers; Bill Trammel, Orville Trammel, and sisters; JoAnn Watts and Beth Stormet. He married his loving wife Retha Trammel on June 23, 1962 for 54 years. After the military he served in the restaurant business until retirement. Mr. Trammel is survived by his wife Retha Trammel of Kemp, son Charles Ray Trammel Jr., daughters; Lisa Surtees, Brenda Evans, and Teresa Tenery, brother Henry Trammel, sisters; Lorna Turk, Pat Walton and Eva Jean Randolph, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
