Danny McLeroy

Danny Ray McLeroy was born January 5, 1947 in Kaufman to parents Lester Monroe and Juanita Frances (Walker) McLeroy and entered eternal rest August 15, 2019 at the age of 72. Danny was a fun-loving, simple, loyal man who loved his family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers play baseball, listening to music and singing. Danny attended Kaufman High School but attained his G.E.D. in Korea. He served our country in the United States Army Infantry. Danny met the love of his life Frances Powell in May of 1967 and they were married January of 1968 in Corsicana. He was an honorary Deacon at Full Gospel Tabernacle in Eustace. Danny was an amazing man who will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him. Danny is preceded in death by; his parents, brothers; Donnie, Tommy and Johnny McLeroy. He is survived by; his wife Frances McLeroy of Kemp, son Vernon Ray McLeroy of Kemp, daughter Susan Bayuk and spouse Chris of Lewisville, daughter Janet Ragsdale and spouse Russell of Kemp, grandchildren: Michael Rollins and Ashlee of Rockwall, Jesse Hill of NY, Jacob Hill of Kemp, Nikki Rollins and Drew of Stephenville, Camdyn Ragsdale of Kemp, Desi Bayuk of Salida, CO, Makayla Ragsdale of Ferris, Mariha Ragsdale of Kemp, Bethany Ragsdale of Kemp, Breanna Ragsdale of Kemp, great-grandchildren; Addie Rollins, Jack Rollins, Mason Ragsdale, best friend Jimmy Williams, other loving family members and many more friends.

I was so saddened to hear about Danny. Danny was a very special man. I remember when he was always trying to take care of my husband when he was sick at church. He was always so kind to me and my husband. A true man of God.I will never forget him. I know he’s walking the streets of gold!
