Gener Baxley

Gener was born June 13, 1932 in Dorchester, Texas to parents Louis B. and Emma (Samples) Clemmons and entered into eternal rest on March 9, 2018 at the age of 85. Gener's number one focus in life was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great - grandmother, who enjoyed her flowers, fishing, slot machines, and playing Dominos. She was so good at Dominos, she didn't want to play at the nursing home anymore because she got tired of winning. Gener was Baptist by faith and had attended Oak Crest Baptist Church in Dallas. She was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Gener was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thelbert James Baxley, brothers; Thurman, Henry, Joe , Hardy, and Clarance Clemmons, sisters: Mary Taylor, Mildred Clemmons, Mamie Knott, Opal Rodgers, and Ruby Baucum.

She is survived by son James Paul Baxley and wife Mary, son Gerald Ray Baxley and wife Peggy, son Jerry Don Baxley Sr. and wife Alice, son Timothy Jay Baxley and wife Kimberly D., grandson Jerry Don Baxley Jr. and wife Kim, grandson Chris Baxley, grandson Matthew Baxley, granddaughter Kristi Bailey, great-grandchildren: Maven and Miley Chavez, Cohen Bailey, Robyn Baxley, other loving family members and many more friends.
