Geneva Alene (Glenn) Trull was born August 21, 1933 in Kemp, Texas to parents Horace Lee and Jewel Elizabeth (Williamson) Glenn and entered eternal rest on January 21, 2019 at the age of 85. Geneva graduated from Kemp High School in 1950, went on to attend Henderson County College, leading to a career of 30 years with Kemp ISD. She was the treasurer for Becker United Methodist Church and enjoyed participating in the annual Becker Harvest Festival. Geneva was a sentimental, intelligent, selfless, dependable woman who enjoyed crafting, sewing, crocheting, embroidery and quilting. Her quilts won her several awards and ribbons at a variety of quilting shows. She loved God, being a mom, cooking, and watching the Texas Rangers baseball team. Most of all, she loved her family, which showed in the way she would keep anything her kids or grandkids made or gave her. Geneva was an extraordinary person who will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; husband of over 66 years, Sammy Trull, who passed in 2018; daughter Marilyn Trull; sisters Louise, Lillian, Janie and Nan. She is survived by daughter Wanda Fyffe and husband Rick of Mesquite, daughter Nedra Trull of Kaufman, daughter Patsy Warren of Gun Barrel City, daughter Rita Thompson and husband Danny of Kemp, son Michael Trull and wife Toni of Mesquite, daughter Kim Van Houten and husband Kris of Tustin, CA; grandchildren Carrie, Melissa, Ryan, Stacey, Christy, Jamison and Gwynn; great-grand children Courtney, Brandon, Kennedy, Oliver, and Parker; sister Reubine Mayfield of Kaufman; many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members; and many more friends.
