Mrs. Hazel L. Brumley
September 3, 1936 – January 23, 2018
Hazel Loretta Ward Brumley was born September 3, 1936 in Sulpher Bluff, Texas to Gus and Dora Lilliann (Tillery) Ward and entered into rest on January 23, 2018 at the age of 81. Hazel graduated from Sulpher Bluff High School. She loved the Lord and lived her life to make a difference in everyone's life. Hazel enjoyed playing Bingo and anything that had to do with church. She served as Children's Leadership at First Assembly of God Church in Eustace, at Faith Assembly of God Church in Ennis, and was a powerful Prayer Warrior. Hazel's grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She was an amazing woman who will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Garner Brumley, sisters; Hettie Leroy Ward Thomas, Annie Mae Ward Hatchell, Donnie Ward Caldwell Nelson, Ruby Oveta Ward Smith, brothers; Curtis Thomas Ward, Johnnie Albert Ward, Dewey McCoy Ward, Joe Bailey Ward, Frank D. Ward and JC Ward.
She is survived by her sister, Erma Hill of Ennis, sister-in-law Barbra Clarady of Lufkin, her daughter Tammie Hood of Tyler, son Dale Brumley and Barbara of Benbrook, granddaughters; Amber Rogers and fiancé Jason Davis of Jacksonville, Angel McRae and Martin of Benbrook, grandsons; Christopher Hood and Erica of Frisco, Michael Parlington and Wendy of Benbrook, and Jeremy Parlington of Dallas, great-grandchildren; Brennan Rogers, Baileigh Rogers, Dylan McRae, ZoeBrianna Rogers, Hayden Parlington, Sommer McRae, Emma Parlington, Lucas McRae, Madison McRae, and Chloe Moore, other loving family members and many more friends.
