In the 61 years I've known Helen, the most important think she taught me was to be a grandmother. She was the Best.
When the grandchildren were around they got 100% of her attention. Whether it was swimming in the pool, fishing in the pond,
swinging in the backyard or having a picnic down in the pasture, she made it fun and exciting. The joy she felt was obvious by the smile on her face and the laughter at every little silly thing they did or said. She never spoiled them with money or material things. She spoiled them with her time, her attention and her love. She adored each and everyone of them and they adored her. I hope and strive to be that kind of grandmother every day. I will miss you Nannie

What a wonderful “LADY”...she always had a smile, spoke softly with kind words. She was my teammate when the bank opened in Seven Points. We were like two green horns late in years, learning new technology. You will be missed, but now you and Charlie can be together forever.

About two years ago we all took Nannie to Painting with a Twist in Denton after a great dinner at Giuseppe’s. We laughed so much and had such a good time. Nannie thoroughly enjoyed it! There are so many memories with our wonderful Nannie!
