Papa- I can’t find the right words to express how much you mean to me. You’ve only been “Papa” to me for the last seven years, but I love you like my own and feel like you’ve been in my life for my whole life. We have spent many, many days together; good, bad, happy and sad, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in this world. You are a one of kind and will be missed so much. Things are going to be tough, but we will all get through it knowing that you’re in a much better place. I can only imagine the celebration you had joining your wife and kids at those beautiful gates of Heaven. We love you, Papa!

Papa - I’ve known you for 35+ years and you are such a kind soul. Truth be known, you’re not even my Papa, but a wonderful Papa to my nieces and nephews all their lives. You showed your love to them in so many ways, but mostly by always being there for them. From cow shows, school performances / awards / graduations, sporting events, births, deaths, holidays and just life. That love is in them and they will carry and pay it forward to the next generation. Until we meet again, love you Mr Herb. 💜

Thank you Herb for teaching Matt and me everything we knew about the Brahman breed and showing cattle. You will be greatly missed not just by us, but by the hundreds of children you helped through your passion for seeing kids do well. See you and Mrs. B one day soon.
