Joyce Jenkins

Herma Joyce Jenkins was born March 26, 1928 in Kemp, to parents William Arthur and Ora Gertrude (Elston) Struck and entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2017 at the age of 88. Joyce was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers and loved to play Bingo. Joyce was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3905 in Kaufman of which she was the 1st elected president of the Ladies’ Auxiliary. Bobby Frank Jenkins, Joyce’s loving husband, went to be with the Lord on July 23, 1986,

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters; Lois Cox and Laura Nell Stuck, brothers: Fred Struck, twin, Herschiel Struck, and Gann Struck, daughter Brenda Hagens and son Larry Jenkins.

She is survived by, daughters; Pam Thomason of Kaufman, Pat Tidwell and husband Larry of Kemp, son Ronnie Jenkins and wife Tammy of Kaufman, grandchildren; Amy Frenzel, Jason Monroe, Kirk Tidwell, Quincy Tidwell, Lori McKinley and Mallory Sloan, great-grandchildren; Stratton, Zaida, Ryker, Pearson, Gavin, Ethan, Seth, Emma, Trey, Madison and one on the way, brother-in-law Jimmy Jenkins and wife Linda of Rowlett, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
