As a member of Calvary Baptist Church, I wish to express to Lee's family my gratefulness at having known he and two of his grandsons. He was faithful to his church as long as he could be. Our prayers are with those who loved him and will miss him. God Bless You.

Words can not express the profound emptiness and loss our world has endured due to the passing of this fine man. Those of us he called friend or "Pal" are heartbroken today Lee came into my life 40 plus years ago. His beloved Nelda was my dearest friend. I was instantly made family status. Both sons were amazing human being. Lee taught me unconditional love as I watched him mentor his boys and then eventually his grandchildren. Terry, Gerry, Terry, Patricia, Christopher, Misty, Matthew and Luke. Lee,Nelda,Terry and I traveled a lot of miles together. Lee was Nelda's rock when Terry died May 22 1994. Then the unspeakable occurred June 6 2005 Nelda left us suddenly and he was everyone's rock. My greatest love and respect for Gerry and Tammy Padgett for never wavering in their belief's that family came first and keep Lee as comfortable as possible those last few days. And as always Gerry's great humor and ability to soften a terrible blow. He calls me 7:25am EST and says wake up sleepy head this is the call you don't want to get. I had planned to have lunch with my beloved Nelda and Terry I just had not planned on Lee being there as well. It will be the four of us as it was so many times.
