Mrs. Marianne Reed

Marianne Cobb Reed was born on April 17, 1959 in Irving, TX to parents Jimmy Lloyd and Evie Louise (Thomason) Cobb and entered into eternal rest on July 3, 2016 at the age of 57. She has gone to be with her loving husband of 41 years, Ronald. Marianne was known as “MeMe” and “Mari Banana” by those who knew and loved her. She adored her family. Marianne loved being outdoors; mowing and floating on the lake. She enjoyed dancing and cooking. She was a Christian and was a member of Kemp Church of Christ. Marianne was a very loving and caring lady who will be missed immensely by those who loved and knew her.

Marianne was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald Reed and sister Margie Holmes.

She is survived by her daughter Amanda Vaughn and spouse Amanda Ward of Forney, son Chase Reed and wife Michelle of Kemp, daughter Kristen Patterson of Gun Barrel City, 7 grandchildren; Monica, Marissa, Shawn, Chasity, Justin, Caleb and Jayden, sister Rita Crawford and husband Arthur of Gun Barrel City, other loving family members and many more friends.
