Michael David Crump

Michael David Crump was born November 18, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to parents James Melvin Crump and Lorraine May (LeRette) and entered into rest on November 22, 2017 at the age of 58. Mike was a free-spirited and strong-willed man. Some may even describe him as a “Hippie”. Once he set his mind to something there was no stopping him. He liked Harley-Davidson motorcycles, loud Rock and Roll, Jazz, and Blues music. He was known around the neighborhood as the “Boogieman”. Mike had a love for building houses, growing plants, and being outside. He made a tradition out of going to the “Buddy Bash” each year. He was very loyal and devoted to his family and friends. Mike especially loved his grandkids. Mike touched a lot of people in his life and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mike is preceded in death by his mom and stepfather Guy White, Granny and Grandpa Crump and brother-in-law Kenneth Long. He is survived by his daughter Brittney Crump and Rocio of Palestine, son Jaymes Crump and Kristin of Tool, granddaughter Rilyn Crump, son William Whitman, granddaughter Destinee Whitman, sister Linda and Troy Webster of Red Oak, sister Cyndy and Jerry Kier of Lindale, sister Kathy and Mike Andersen of Harlan, IA, sister Paula Green of Red Oak, brother Pete and Melanie Petersen of Red Oak, other loving family members, host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many more friends.
