Randy K. Dobbs

Randy K Dobbs was born on October 31, 1956 to parents, Forrest and Maxine Dobbs. He entered into rest on February 8, 2021. Randy loved theater and music, he performed in professional theatre for many years, including Garland Summer Musicals and Lyric Stage. He was the founder of the Mesquite Civic Chorus and served on the Mesquite ISD School Board. Randy was also the worship leader at Life Community Church and Celebration on the Lake. Randy was kind and generous, always found a way to make people laugh, and was a big part of his community. However, his favorite role was that of father, grandfather and uncle. His family was the most important part of his life, he always made sure they knew how important they were to him.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Maxine Dobbs; sister, Deanna Dobbs; brother, Walter Dobbs. He is survived by his children, Randa Johnson and husband Matthew, Dayton Spencer Dobbs, Forrest Taylor Dobbs; grandchildren, Rylee, Cooper and Avery Johnson; sister, Janie Morris and husband Jerry; nephews, Bart and Brett Baker; nieces, Penny Martin, Teelee Phliger and Wendee Neubauer. Randy also leaves behind other loved ones and lifelong friends.
