I still can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that you're not with me anymore. You were the best grandma. I loved our phone calls that we had when I'd get tired of driving and I could call and you'd talk to me until I got to my destination. I love coming to your house and always being sent home with food. I loved that you would always keep a stock of canned peaches because they were my favorite. I loved how every night I was at your house growing up you would rub my belly and back to get me to sleep. I loved how everyone I brought around became another grandchild to you. You loved everyone and you took care of all. I miss you so freaking much. I cannot wait to see you again. I love you forever and more. ❤

Mom, you were the best mother I could ever ask for. The one person that had my back no matter what. The one person I could talk to and tell you anything. My first love. My best friend, my rock, my hero. I cherished our phone calls and every moment we had you will be greatly missed. My heart has shattered into a million pieces. But I will try to put it back together. Till we meet again. I love you to the moon and back. Thank you for being the best mother in the world. And taking care and loving me.

From Your Loving Son Cody
