GLOR - Dorothy K. (nee Krehbiel) April 13, 2013, beloved wife of the late Richard L. Glor, DDS; loving mother of Timothy R., DDS (late Margaret), Bruce J. (Cinda), Christopher D. (Jennifer) and Gary S. (Mark Spina) Glor; dearest grandmother of Todd, Brian, Allen, Jeff (Nicole), Rich Ph.D., David (Chrissy), Adrienne (Michael) Kolacia and Russell Glor; dear great-grandmother of Jack, Eli Glor and Taylor Kolacia; sister of the late Theodore (late Nancy) Krehbiel. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 4 PM at Kenmore United Methodist Church. Memorials to Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Rd., Kenmore 14217.

Dorothy K. Glor, the longest-tenured member of Kenmore United Methodist Church, died unexpectedly Saturday after suffering a fall at her Kenmore home. She was 90.

Born in Buffalo, the former Dorothy Krehbiel was a graduate of Kenmore High School and attended Michigan State University. She worked as an operator for New York Telephone Co. and managed her husband’s dental office for several years.

A member of Kenmore United Methodist since the age of 13, she served as president of the church’s board of trustees. She was a volunteer treasurer for the gift shop at the former Millard Fillmore Hospital for 10 years. She also was a member of the Michigan State Alumni Association.

Her husband of 59 years, Dr. Richard L., died in 2006.

Surviving are four sons, Dr. Timothy, Bruce J., Christopher and Gary.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road at Delaware Road.

Both your parents were wonderful members of the local MSU Alumni Group. Your mom was hostess for Christmas dinner several times for the ladies and also monthly meetings. A visit to the home near Attica in the fall was a favorite for all. Such nice memories from two wonderful MSU Alums.
