Frederick J. Scherer, of Kenmore, NY entered into rest on October 21, 2025 at age 91. Beloved husband of the late Ann (nee Connelly) Scherer; devoted father of Ellen Scherer, James (Patricia) Scherer, Mary (Bob Zahn) Scherer and Kevin (Juanita Hajjar) Scherer; cherished grandfather of Kathleen (Thomas Burns) Scherer, William (Amanda McNally) Scherer and Margaret (Destiny Ballard) Scherer; adored great-grandfather of Calix Ballard; loving son of the late Helen (nee Cuff) and Frederick W. Scherer; also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home, 3070 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, NY 14217 on Friday (October 24, 2025) from 4:30-7pm, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday (October 25, 2025) at 10am.
