Georgia R. (nee Edick) Puehn, passed after a period of declining health. Beloved wife of the late George E. Puehn; devoted mother of Michele (Peter) Clopper, David (Kate) Puehn, Barbara Lunsford, Carl (Karen) Puehn, George C. Puehn and late Thomas Puehn; cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Georgia was known for her love of cooking, whether it was for family or the family-owned butcher shop. She loved to please family and customers with her meatballs, sauce, stuffing, and potato salad. Her grandchildren especially loved her cut-out cookies and pies while her husband was a big fan of her banana cream or apple pies.
She was also an avid custom sewer from clothing to furniture design. She will be missed for the joy her sharing and creativity brought to others.
A Mass of Christian Burial for both George and Georgia will be celebrated at Our Lady of Charity Parish - Holy Family Worship Site, 1901 South Park Ave., Buffalo, NY 14220 on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 9:30am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception will follow at Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant & Banquet Facility, 3785 South Park Ave., Blasdell, NY 14219.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Father Baker’s Our Lady of Victory Charities, 780 Ridge Road, Lackawanna, NY 14218.
