Sending sincere condolences . I remember Miss Gennuso from the 60s and 70s at Hoover. She was a wonderful teacher.  I moved to Israel in the 80s but I saw the announcement tonight on Facebook. One of the few teachers who left her mark on me.  May fond memories give you comfort.

Mrs. Doyle will be greatly missed. She helped me to learn to love music. I remember fondly my days in the choir with her and my kids have grown on some of the songs she taught us; my favorite being “fly high and free”. I learned to play the piano because she played For Elise for us. I will remember her forever.

She was The Best Music 🎼 🎶 teacher Ever!! My sister and I still talk about her ✨& sing the lessons we learned. It is heartbreaking 💔😢 news!

She was such an elegant, beautiful woman. When my home life would get crazy, I would sit on your front steps and listen to her play the piano. It was a few moments of peace and harmony in a chaotic life. Thank you for that!

Mrs. Doyle was one of my favorite teacher’s at Hoover in the early 80’s. I loved when she brought out her instruments. I remember singing Octopus’s Garden in her class and then hearing it on the radio. I thought she must have been famous if “her” song was on the radio. I also remember loving when she’d have us sing  Senior Don Gato in her class.  She was a one of a kind teacher.  May her memory be a blessing.

Grace was a warm woman who smiled easily. Anytime we were face to face, she made me feel welcome and like she really wanted to hear what I had to say. She had, well.... grace.
 I remember coming over for the famous Doyleburgers(which were delicious!) and Grace showing me her home and little remembrances around it from Shaun Jr's childhood. The love of her family shone through. I could have listened to her telling funny, loving stories about raising your son all night. 
Every time she saw me, she thanked me for the care I showed her grandsons. Even though I kept telling her no thanks were necessary. She wanted me to know she appreciated me being part of the village. Her love for them so was enormous. There were no brighter stars in her sky. I enjoyed watching her eyes light up in their presence. 
Her passing leaves a hole no other human could ever fill as Grace was one of a kind. 
May you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared with Grace and in the legacy of love and kindness she leaves behind. She touched many hearts.  My thoughts are with you and your family.

Mrs. Doyle was my absolute FAVORITE teacher in elementary school. I will be 48 in August and I have never forgotten her and her kindness. I remember every year I was at Hoover elementary in her music class and then in chorus. I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget her and what a wonderful person she was.

As Principal of Hoover Elementary School, I was so fortunate to have excellent teachers and support staff.  Gracey ( my loving name for her) was one of the very best!!
   Grace was an inspiration to her students and taught them so much more than vocal music. She modeled perfection, planning, organization, and practice. Her melodic voice, her gentle laughter, her caring ways will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
   Grace was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her shining stars and I know that she was so proud of her family and so beloved by them.
   May God comfort her family and may Grace’s memory be blessed.

While I never had the pleasure of meeting Gracie, I felt like I knew her because I know her incredible son, Shaun.  I know that Gracie had to be a wonderful, magical person because she raised a wonderful, magical son.  I know she'll be missed dearly.

Mrs Grace Doyle was my favorite teacher in Elementary school. Because of her spirit and dedication I went to Buffalo State and became a teacher . Her spirit will live on in the students she taught who love music today because of her .

Dear Mr. Doyle -  I never met Gracie in person, but I have heard such wonderful stories full of love from your Son - and that has to be a true reflection of your love for her, and your beautiful family! Shaun, I never met your sweet Mom or your Dad's Best Girl, but the pictures and memories and laughs and Grace-isms you shared so proudly with us through Facebook has truly made me feel lucky to 'know' her. What a vibrant lady! She was hilarious and unapologetically herself and I loved her so much for it. She gave us all permission to be present and love our people with our whole hearts. When I met Shaun, I knew amazing people raised him. And when I first met them, it was confirmed! Over the years, I looked so forward to any of their frequent visits to Orlando and Disney. Grace was so sweet, kind and funny and Mr. Doyle was so obviously still smitten with his girl. 

Sending so much love to Shaun Sr. and Jr., Eric and the boys, the whole family and all who loved her, for that is an enormous amount of people.

Shaun, Mr Doyle, Eric, Jackson, and Frankie-though I haven’t seen Mrs Doyle since grade school I feel, in my heart, that I know exactly who she was.   I know because of the most amazing-kind-talented-genuine-beautiful-person she raised.    Shaun is an absolute reflection of the most important job Grace ever had, and she knocked it out of the park!   Well done Grace Doyle, thank you for giving the world Shaun. Grace was such a wonderful patient of mine at McAuley Residence. I always looked forward to working with her as she always put a smile on my face talking about her family, especially her husband, son and her grandsons. I only got to know her a short time during her stay for rehab, but she made an influence in my life and is someone I think about when I think of those patients who inspire me. May Grace rest peacefully.
