Of Kenmore, New York December 25, 2022, Age 85. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Ormsby) Stein. Loving father of Emily (John Castaneda) Stein, Erica (Rob) Peltier, Kirsten (Jose Areas) Stein and the late Tracey Stein. Dear grandfather of Mikayla, Lola and Miles. Brother of Carol (Don) Wright and the late Douglas Stein. Brother in law of Barbara Stein. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Dr. Stein was a professor of geography for 30 years at Buffalo State College and a member of the “Rail Barons” at the Buffalo Historical Society.
