Jill A. Kopasz

Jill Anne Kopasz, 74, Leesburg, Florida passed away on October 30, 2019 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Jill Was born on November 23, 1944 in Kenmore, New York to her parents Irving Ruppel and Florence (Cocoman) Ruppel. She and her husband Leslie Louis Kopasz have resided in Leesburg full time since 2016 and were seasonal residents from 2005 till 2016 and were originally from Kenmore, New York. She enjoyed singing karaoke where it was often said from family and friends that she sang like an angel. She was a great cook for her family and friends. She was talented and gifted in working with her hands in creating beautiful ceramics and floral arrangements. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Paul Catholic Church in Leesburg and were still members of St. Paul Catholic Church in Kenmore. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years: Leslie L. “Fuzzy” Kopasz, Sr. of Leesburg, FL; a son: Leslie L. Kopasz, Jr. (Wendy) of Winter Garden, FL; a daughter: Kerry Kopasz-Eddins (John Tartal) of Malibu, California; a brother: Jack Ruppel of Tonawanda, NY; four grandchildren: Dylan Kopasz, Ellie Eddins, Riley Eddins and Gracie Eddins also many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday Nov. 22nd from 5-7 pm at the Dengler Roberts Perna Funeral Home 3070 Delaware Ave. Kenmore. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday Nov. 23rd, 11am from St. Paul's RC Church corner of Delaware Ave. & Victoria Blvd. Kenmore.
