November 22, 2013, age 87, formerly of Kenmore, beloved husband of Arline (nee Stasiukinas); dear father of John R. (Shane) Sia, Jr. and David (Diane) Sia; grandfather of Mark David (Leslie) Sia, Valerie Lynn Speare and Richard David (Michelle) Sia; great-grandfather of Ryan and Ethan also survived by several nieces and nephews.Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Mr. Sia was a Corporal in the U.S. Marines, serving in The First Battalion in WWII in Okinawa and Peleliu Islands in the South Pacific. John was a retired employee of The Village of Kenmore, with 26 years of service in the Public Works Department. Flowers gratefully declined.
