In loving memory of Malynda, a beautiful woman and wonderful friend. We met in 1992, and from that moment, she became a cherished part of my life. I'll forever treasure our Saturday mornings, sipping coffee and savoring muffins, talking about everything under the sun. She was a great listener, offering wisdom, kindness, and laughter in every conversation. I’ll always remember the joy of sharing time with her, especially after my son was born, and the unforgettable experience of running a half marathon together. Her fun sense of humor, generosity of spirit, and unwavering kindness made her a truly remarkable friend. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Malynda.  She was a caring, compassionate, savvy woman and colleague, who was dedicated to the mission. Her office was down the hall from mine, and we often shared stories and insights about life.  Malynda embodied the qualities of an exceptional agent - loyal, brave and full of integrity.  She was also warm and kind. It was obvious, to all who knew her, that she excelled at performing her responsibilities in her last job assignment prior to her retirement. It certainly provided an opportunity for travel to exotic locales and encounters with interesting characters.  She was always inspired to SeekTruth. Malynda was also devoted to her husband, of whom she spoke often and lovingly. It is comforting to know they will rest in peace together.

I knew Malynda from work. She was a thoughtful person and was always easy to work with.

Graduated with Malynda from the FBI academy and served with her in Detroit.  Such a dear, glorious person. She was greatly admired for her abilities, wit, and dedication.  Though in Detroit for a short while, she was beloved and instantly impressed us all.  Prayers to her family and for her gentle and spirited soul.

Malynda with our daughters, Shelby and Skylar in Boston in June, 2011.  From the time they were infants, she remembered their birthday every year - that’s the kind of thoughtful person she was. This was the first time the girls had seen Malynda since they were little, and they absolutely adored her.  Whenever her name came up, they would always say “She is so cool.”

I met Malynda in May 1991 when we  transferred to the Miami field office. We had so many wonderful times there, including the most memorable baby shower ever, hosted by Malynda:). Through the years and despite miles of separation, we shared joys, heartaches and a lot of laughter. She was a truly special person  - loyal, genuine, caring, thoughtful, fun-loving, and always there for her friends. To the Irby Family,  Malynda and I met through work and she became a cherished friend.  We bonded through our love of our fur babies and visiting our friend's condo in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.    I loved hearing all her stories about Belle and Blackie and then Maria and Honey.  The world  has lost a wonderful and caring person.  Malynda made the world a better place.  Sending sincere sympathy to the Irby Family.

The influence of Malynda will last for years to come. I met Malynda in Baghdad when she was supporting efforts to promote democracy and freedom. The life of others  were forever changed due the sacrifices she made in 2009.  It was an honor and privilege to get to know Malynda and her team. Her influence was respected and appreciated.

I considered myself incredibly fortunate to have found Malynda in my dorm room in Blacksburg, VA in the fall of 1978. It was the first day we  met and I think we stayed up all night getting to know each other and realising that this was going to be a long long friendship. Her infectious laughter, her humor, her loyalty and her true friendship can not be measured but are so strongly felt! I will always adore you my dear sweet Moe!!
