I’m very sad to hear of Margaret’s passing, and I’m sad to not make it to the service today. Margaret was my violin teacher for many years beginning at Waterfront school and then privately. I have warm memories of lessons in her living room. I’m grateful for the music education that I received from her. It was a foundation in my journey to becoming the professional musician that I am today. Thank you Margaret for being my teacher. Rest In Peace.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Margaret Proctor Saetveit. We did not know Margaret or Joseph Duane Saetveit very well at all, even though my mother Wilma and Duane’s mother were close sisters.

When my mother Wilma passed away at the early age of 34 in 1952, and I was 4 years old, we rather quickly lost touch with the families.
The Saetveits were a very musically talented family, and we visited with Aunt Helga and Uncle Joe once a long time ago (in the 1970’s I think) when they came to visit Duane and Margaret.

We are thinking of your family at this time. Michael and Nancy Magee

I am deeply distressed to hear of Margaret's passing. I interviewed and hired Margaret as a Music Therapist many years ago, for ECMC's Child Care Recovery and Learning Center. She was so talented and such a gift to the families and children she worked with, and I have many fond memories of our friendship. Unfortunately, we lost touch over the last several years...RIP dear Margaret. You touched so very may lives!

Margaret and I played many gigs together going back to 1977. It was deeply distressing to hear of her passing: Such a bright star blinking out

Worked with Margaret many years ago at ECMC-DTC. A beautiful
person in and out. RIP. Play your music from the heavens above.
