

December 17, 1932 - July 21, 2025. Of Tonawanda, after a brief illness. Devoted wife of over 60 years to the late Henry Richard (Dick) Rohm Loving mother of Kathleen Sears, Deborah Rohm and Joseph (Zena) Rohm; Dear grandmother of Jelena (Matt), Michelle (Sean), Kelly (Anthony), Charles R. (Kelly), Andrew J., Joseph L. II, Raelene (Anthony); loving great grandmother of Thomas, Charles D., Cameron, Mackenzie, Carter, Hazel, Lucas, Layla, Hallie, Avery, and Juliana; Daughter of the late Lawrence and Ida (Piccillo) Lemoncello; sister of Janet (the late Robert) Faller and Lawrence (Barbara) Lemoncello; Sister-in-law of the late June (Syl) Halas. Also survived by many special nieces and nephews. Family will be present on Friday, August 1st from 4-7 pm at the DENGLER ROBERTS PERNA Funeral Home 3070 Delaware Ave., Kenmore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday August 2nd at St. Timothy RC Church, East Park Dr. at 10am. Please assemble at church. Flowers gratefully declined. Remembrance to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Marie was a long time elementary school teacher in the Kenton School District and a member of the Kenmore Retired Teachers Association. An avid gardener, her yard was always bursting with color. She was known for her baklava, pizzelle and homemade sauce, Saint Joseph’s Day and her famous St Joseph’s Day table, was an honored tradition. Her favorite place to visit was Daytona Beach. It’s also where she wintered for her retired years. During retirement Marie and Dick traveled all around the world. She treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marie was a proud first generation, Italian American, who grew up in Buffalo, where she attended Saint Mary of Sorrows School, Nardin Academy and Buffalo State Teachers College.
