There was a particular timbre to my mother's laughter when she was on the telephone with Aunt Marion. So distinct, so hearty, that soon enough, when I was living at home and heard that laughter filling our house (usually in the morning), I knew it was Aunt Marion on the other line. She had a marvelous sense of humor and could make us all forget any aches and pains with her wit. Great medicine! Thanksgiving dinners at her house were bountiful and delicious. When my sisters and I stayed with her family once when my parents were out of town, I never felt like an appendage; she made me feel her home was my home and I had some great times with my cousins. While Aunt Marion had many attributes, most importantly, to me, she was a good woman with a good heart and she will be missed.

To Dan Koontz and family:
Please accept my sympathy and my condolences on the loss of your Mom and/or family member. From all the heartfelt comments within this Guest

Sorry about the loss of contact over the past many years. An old H.S. friend from B.T. HS....., and hopefully, I have the right Dan Koontz.

I consider myself very lucky to have had Marion in my life. She has always treated me as if I was one of her own.
And when I brought my son to see her it was as if she had just gained another grandchild. She will be greatly missed. I am sending goods thoughts and prayers to the Armesto family especially my Pop. I am still his favorite!
