Of Grand Island, NY, beloved wife, and mother, passed away surrounded by family on April 19, 2022. She was born May 31, 1936, in East Eden,New York, daughter of the late Roy Clemons Mammoser and Mildred Rose Mammoser. Marlyn is survived by her devoted husband, Francis Walter Sawtelle; and her adoring sons, Mark (Jane), Michael (Tracy) and Sean (Donna). She also leaves behind her brother, Gordon “Corky”of East Eden, NY; and sister, Judy of Tucson, AZ; her brother, Allen and sister, Diane having predeceased her. In addition, she also leaves behind five loving grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Family and friends may gather on Saturday, May 7, 2022,at DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 3070 Delaware Ave.,Kenmore, NY 14217, for a Celebration of Life from 1-4 PM, with a service at 2 PM. Marlyn earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Daemen University in Amherst,NY, and had a long career with Sierra Research, starting as a secretary and working her way into a management role. After retirement, Marlyn dedicated much of her time to volunteer work, primarily with the Morlock Foundation in Lockport, NY. She was an avid reader and enjoyed many physical activities, including walking, swimming and Zumba. Most of all, she loved family time, often traveling for visits. The Euler/Sawtelle family wishes to extend it’s sincere thanks to the team from Hospice and Palliative Care Buffalo, who provided care for Marlyn in her
