On behalf of the Whetzle family, I am so sorry for your loss. The Joyce family -- and especially Paul and Mary Claire -- are stitched into many fond memories we have of growing up in Buffalo -- the West Side Rowing Club and so many more. We are thinking of you. My deepest sympathy, Kate Whetzle Hohenberg

Dear Joyce family: Mary Ann was such a vibrant and engaging woman. I always enjoyed talking with her on Thunder Bay beach; she was always so interested in what was happening in my life. I remember vividly the yearly Christmas tree decorating parties your parents held. It was always a great time to catch up with them. My sincere condolences on your loss of both your parents. They were great people. Love, Molly

"marjoy" sounds like "more joy".....This describes what Mary Ann brought to me and so many others. She was the other Mom to the Marks kids. She was always there to give a hand, to offer herself and to bring smiles. My heart and prayers are with you Steve, Paul, Jennifer, Mary Clare and Ian. So much sorrow for you now may her spirit give you and your children respite. Just a wonderful woman!! a role model for all of us. with love, Liz
