My deepest sympathies to the entire Hymes family.  We grew up in North Buffalo and what I'll always remember is Peter's big heart.  He was kind of a protector in a sense.  Never afraid to have your back.  Many fun nights at the Hymes home playing pool in the basement.  Lots of fond memories!

We grew up with Peter, Michael, Bill and their family.  The 3 block trek from Parker Avenue (The Langer boys & John Calabrese) to Groveland to Shoshone Park.  Great memories!  The Langer's send thoughts and prayers to the Hymes' family.

Peter was bigger than life and I know that his family and friends will remember him for all of his goodness. I will just remember him as the biggest and strongest at Shosone Park 1960's. The Bellissimo's send their prayers to the family of Peter Hymes.

We grew up with Peter on Groveland; very sorry to hear of someone so close in age passing too soon.  Great memories from my Buffalo years.

I didn't know him well, but he helped us out and I won't forget that. Rest in peace Pete, we all know you deserve it.

Pete was the greastest landlord ever he cared, U will be dearly missed!!!

Pete was such a good friend, if myself or my children were ever in need he was always there if circumstances allowed.  If he could do for someone who was in need he would. Just found out about Peter today. I lived next door to Peter for 24 years. Peter was a one of a kind person who will be truly missed. I have many fond memories of time spent with Pete. He, indeed, could always make you laugh.

I am so very sorry to hear about Peter.  He was my neighbor and we both loved gardening.  You could always find Peter outside watering his grass and flowers( his grass was the greenest on the street ). We would talk about everything but especially gardening and family..  He was so very kind and helpful to me.  Always doing things to make my life easier.  Please accepth my deepest sympathy and know that he will be greatly missed and remembered.

I went to grade school with Peter, St. Rose, when we met we became friends forever. Always made me smile, Peter had a Charm about him,(even though he never realized it) I did not know one person who did not like him, I will miss you Peter, you will be at Peace now...

Very sorry to hear of Pete's passing. "Pete Nymph" was a trustworthy friend always willing to help anyone,anytime,anyplace. Peter had a big heart, and was one of the funniest people on the planet. Rest in peace my friend as I will always remember you in my prayers.
