It has been a little over a year now, and I still can't believe you are not here with us any longer....I know how much you struggled with your illness... I also know that where you are now, there is no such illness for you... And that you can truely rest in peace.... I am so grateful for the 2 wonderful children you have given us, but I am so sorry that you won't be here to enjoy all the special occassions in there lives....So many of those coming up soon too....Well I know you will be watching down on them, but it still isn't the same...Please keep them safe and always look over them...You are truely missed...

Now to Rachael and Brian Jr,

I am so proud of the young woman and young man that you both have turned out to be...And I am so very proud of the way you have tried to remember your Mom and they way you have and are dealing with all the emotions of losing your Mom...I know that she loves you both and is still looking down on both you.... I also know she is so proud of you guys, and that she is probably talking someone's ear off up there in heaven...My thoughts and prayers are with you both... I Love you both so much...

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of  Rosemarie....My thoughs and prayers are with all of you...I wish you all the best and hope you always keep Rachael and Brian Jr. involved in family gatherings and functions just like Rosie would want.... I know you will...A special thanks to Mary Ann and Patrick for all you have done to stay in touch and also for all the things you do with and for them....They really appreciate them and so do I....Can't tell you how much it helps them...Thanks a TON !!!!

It has been a year today since you have passed away.  I remember that day like it was yesterday.  I remember the exact time we got the call, what we were having for dinner, etc.  There are so many things I am still feeling and want to say, so many questions I still have, and so many thoughts still going through my head.  I miss you so much. I still can’t believe you’re gone, and that it has been a year. I just wish this was a horrible dream. Everyone keeps saying time will heal, but I feel that the pain just gets so much more real. There is an empty place in my heart without you here, and it will always be there, until we meet again. I will always see your face in the shadows of this lonely place without you here, I will laugh, I will cry, shake my fist at the sky, but I will not say goodbye. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you.  I know you had a hard time with your illness, and the only thing that helps me through this is knowing that you are free of your illness and in a better place. I know you will be watching over Brian and me, but I just wish that you were still here with us. Even though sometimes you could get me so mad and drive me nuts, you were still the best mom ever and I love you so much. There are so many things I’m going to miss from the nights in McNulty Hall for Bingo, to sneaking in candy, and drinks into the movies, even when you took me to the Karaoke Bar, Darien Lake visits were always great, to just driving around and honking at people, and getting lost we did that a lot, but we always had great adventures.  No matter what we did we always had fun.  I’m going to miss you calling me your “Dolly girl.”  And no matter what I will always be your Dolly girl forever. You always made sure that Brian and I had the best time ever and got whatever we wanted, and you always succeeded even if you had to spend your last dollar to get it.  I know whatever Brian and I do throughout our lives is going to be for you.  I know when I’m in a situation bad, or good all I have to do is think what would my mom do? And I will be able to get through that situation. I just want to THANK YOU for everything you have done for Brian and me.  I know how hard it was for you to not have Brian and me with you, but you did your best regardless.  Just like you did your best with that horrible illness in the end I feel that you beat that illness you are free now and in a better place able to watch over Brian and I, and help us with difficult decisions.  I think this (earth) was just your “temporary home,” and now you are (truly) home and with God.  You never wasted one moment with us or in your life.  You always made sure that we where having fun, and living our lives to the fullest.   Rest In Peace Mommy. I love you so much and I am going to miss you forever and ever.  God Bless.

Its been a little over half a year now since you past and still every night before I go to bed I think of you. I remember how you would used to say my prayers for me before I closed my eyes and fell asleep. I truly miss you being here to say them to and for me. So now every night I say those same prayers you taught me hoping that you're in Heaven saying them with me. It's hard for me to not hear you saying the words next to me but I know you're looking over me from the better place you're in right now. I want you to know that i miss you dearly.

I was thinking of Rose and her family. It must be yet another difficult time for you all. Her birthday and the holidays. I am thinking of you and remembering her fondly.

And it is always nice to look at the pictures and remember good times.

The last time I saw Rosie she asked me to help her move a dresser cabinet from a neighbor's house into her  appartment.  We carried it down the street together for about fifty yards, straining a little, both of us ...  I remember thinking: "Another nutty idea - why does she want this junk!"  But at the same time I was endeared to her as always, knowing that in this - yet another "great idea" - was the heart and soul of my little sister.  She was happy at that moment, and that is all that counts.  

We hefted up the stoop and into her place.  As I strained with it, I  remembered how she helped me when I needed help, how she helped me with anything and everything she had, giving me a place to stay when I needed it, no questions asked; buying groceries for the both of us in that short time together, advising me with some of the craziest advice I've ever gotten.  And I still have a cooking knife she bought then for me to have.  I use it often, and always think of her when I do.  (It's serated; good for tomatoes.)  I don't know why I share that, except that it's the crazy truth.  Her thoughtful generosity then has given me a memento that keeps her in mind always now. I'll never stop remembering her, and her good, good heart.  A heart of gold really.  None of us will ever know what she went through, but it's consoling to realize that she knew she had a family that loved her.

Good bye for now, Rosie.  I know we will all be togther, and happy, again.

You drove me crazy most of my life but I wouldn't have it any other way; I did the same for you I'm sure.  I know how much you loved me and my family and you were always welcome here with us.  You brought out the best in all of us- what dad has always done- teaching that compassion and love are the most important things in life.  You were a Frank and an important part of this group of 10 that started in 1955.  Our family has changed with you gone but you will always be a part of it. "Nothing gold can stay."

Thank you Rosie for loving us as we were, as were are.  Save a spot up there for me and I'll see you in about 50 years...make it 60.  Until then you will always be in my prayers.  We love you. Your little brother, Patrick.

I want to thank those who put Rosie Pictures on here. Made me cry but they are tear of joy for knowing her, I will miss her soooo much!!! If someone from the family could contact me to let me know where she is burried I would love to go to pay my respects.

Dear Rosie,
You had such a warm, beautiful, happy, bubbly personality and that is how I will always remember you. You made Britt and I laugh being so straight to the point. Telling us how you talk too much and to tell you to shut up if you were. haha. I am so glad you made that surprise visit the last time we saw you. I really wish you had come by a little more often. You were still part of our family. I miss you, but I hope now you are in a better place. <3
