I grew up sailing with Mary and Merrick Hayes, baby sat their youngest son, played at the beach with their kids....These two beautiful people were dear friends of my parents, Bob and Swanie Graves...they were a part of the little sailing club they called "the crew"....they all had such fun together and no doubt they are all having a cocktail together with those that went before them...we miss them all and their love of life, fun and laughter. God love them all. Our thoughts and prayers are with the lose both parents is a strange feeling....I know how it feels however I believe that the love and memories will sustain you all.
Fondly, Jane (Graves) and Mark Kirby

I have known Merrick for many years but knew him best through our association at the Buffalo Club. He was a contributor, a gentleman and it was always good being in his company. My thoughts are with the family.
