She was born to Joseph and Nora McMinamen in Greely County, Nebraska on September 13, 1916. She was the oldest of nine children.
Mrs. Nordin was a wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a strong lady who had married young. She lived through the depression and was able to see so many developments throughout her lifetime.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Nordin Nemecek and her husband, Jack, of Kennesaw and Pamela Jean Nordin of Florida; son, Greg H. Nordin of Mableton; two siblings; and grandchildren.
Mrs. Nordin was cremated under the care of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held for her in the near future and will be announced upon final arrangements.
